YWCA of Japan’s Statement of Protest against DPRK’s Nuclear Test

On 12th February, the Korean Central News Agency broadcasted
about the third nuclear test carried out by the Democratic People’s
Republic of Korea (DPRK) after October 2006 and May 2009, as “part of
practical measures of counteraction to defend the country’s security and
sovereignty in the face of the ferocious hostile act of the U.S”.
The YWCA of Japan strongly protests against the nuclear test that your
country carried out, as it is not only a global environmental
destruction but also an act that may bring an irretrievable situation in
Northeast Asia.
